How the Army OCS Heritage Society differs from the Army OCS Alumni Association:

  • The OCS Heritage Society is not a dues‑based organization. Instead, it brings together like‑minded individuals committed to honoring and preserving the legacy of Army Officer Candidate Schools. Our work is made possible through the voluntary contributions of those who share this commitment.

  • The Society has developed and maintains a Database of prior graduates and uses the database to assist past graduates, families, friends, and researchers to have a "one stop" reference to identify graduates, class numbers, a significant amount of summary data.

  • The Society does extensive research to identify and recognize graduates who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

  • The Society does extensive research to identify and recognize graduates who were awarded the Medal of Honor or Distinguished Service Cross.

  • The Society partners with Fold3 and Ancestry to assist graduates, families, friends and researchers to find out more about graduates.

  • The Society reaches out to Military and Civilian museums to develop reciprocal links for websites.
