Search the database first
The Army OCS Database is the Society's principal research tool. It indexes graduates by name, class, branch school and year, and is the same record the Society maintains.
What helps a search succeed
- Full name as it would have appeared on official records, including middle initial.
- Approximate year of commissioning, even to within a few years.
- Branch of service, if known — see Branch Schools.
- Class number or designation, if it appears on any surviving document.
If you cannot find a record
The record is extensive but not complete, and names were sometimes recorded inconsistently. If a search comes up empty, write to admin@armyocsheritage.org with whatever you have. The Society would also rather hear about a missing graduate than leave the record incomplete.
